Volunteer Tutors Needed

The after school Homework Club and tutoring programs are starting.  We need volunteers and welcome your help throughout the year!  The majority of Seton students (K-8) remain every day after school in the Extended Day Program while their parents finish their work day.  The Extended Day program is from 3:00 to 5:30pm.  Our students benefit greatly from participating in the after school Homework Club where volunteers provide assistance and guidance. Tutoring support is critical because the majority of Seton children are English language learners, and extra acedemic support is important. This year, faculty member Ms. Samantha Moorer is in charge of Student Life Activities, which includes the after school Homework Club and tutoring. Homework Club will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:15pm. Individualized and group tutoring can also be arranged to take place on early dismissal Wednesdays.  We can utilize any volunteers on any day of the week for sports, games, reading or academic support.  Please contact Ms. Moorer for more volunteer information and to coordinate:  This email address is being protected from spambots. We thank you for partnering with us in our mission and work.
